You can still afford a trip to the UK
The UK is a wonderfully diverse small country, made up of Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland. I’d like to show you how to have a great trip in the UK without breaking the bank and seeing more than the usual tourist attractions.
London, the capital city, is the most popular destination in the UK and it’s a great city to visit While you’ll probably want to visit well known sites such as the London Eye and Buckingham Palace, there’s lots more to see and do.
I’m Scottish but I now live in the north east of England in the beautiful town of Berwick upon Tweed, pictured in the blog header. As a Scot I like to get value for money, so I’ll be searching for travel deals and special offers so you can stretch your travel dollars. If you shop around and book in advance there are some great deals available for accommodation without having to resort to staying in grotty hostels.

Don’t let the unfavourable exchange rate of the US dollar against the British pound put you off visiting the UK. Read my blog and find out that you can afford that trip to the UK
